As a LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST there is often a great deal of need to do soft tissue massage techniques during treatment sessions. I also focus a lot of treatment on exercise rehabilitation, ergonomic postural education, and neuromuscular re-education (I am CERTIFIED in EXERCISE REHABILITATION). Many of my patients need nutrition to feel better; some want to be preventive. I use a specialized applied kinesiology technique (NRT or Nutrition Response Testing) to analyze and recommend a specific diet and supplementation program. Some patients need laboratory testing to determine a program. In terms of pain management, my goal is to get you out of pain, keep you out of pain, and make you more self-sufficient. Joint manipulation or "chiropractic adjustments" are a large part of my chiropractor practice, but I consider it to be one of many total health chiropractic and therapeutic procedures I use, and is not always the most important one. I can also provide information about improving your diet, creating a healthier workplace, and increasing the overall quality of your health. The Gotham Healing Arts Center also provides space for an excellent ACUPUNCTURIST and MASSAGE THERAPIST.
